LASIK
LASIK is a type of laser eye surgery that aims to decrease dependence on visual aids like glasses or contact lenses. By using lasers to reshape your cornea, LASIK can correct refractive errors like nearsightedness, farsightedness, or astigmatism. LASIK is one of the most popular refractive procedures and can allow you to experience clearer vision and greater visual freedom.
How Does
LASIK Work?
LASIK surgery works by reshaping the clear outer layer of the eye called the cornea. By reshaping the cornea, light can be better focused on the retina resulting in sharper vision. Both eyes can be treated during the same procedure, which takes around ten minutes per eye. LASIK is done as an outpatient procedure, meaning that you will get to go home the same day.

Dr. Bala Ambati
At a very early age, Dr. Ambati gained respect and admiration for those who work in the medical profession.
