Updates To COVID-19 Policies And Procedures

As the Corona Virus continues to spike and spread across the country and here in Lane County, Pacific ClearVision Institute would like to clarify our current procedures regarding in-person visits. Please check back often for the latest updates

What We Have Done To Help You And Our Staff Stay Safe

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have enhanced our office to optimize safety and social distancing in the office and minimize risk. We respectfully request companions to stay outside the building while their loved ones are seen, except for when patients have mobility or cognition challenges.  All staff and patients will wear masks inside the clinical suite and we will be doing temperature checks and asking screening questions to ensure the safety of our staff and patients. We have installed UV-C HEPA air filters and UV-C air sanitizers throughout the office, and have taken measures to increase sanitizing procedures while decreasing crowding.  Last but not least, if you are interested in LASIK or are an established patient and you would like a virtual consult over telemedicine, please call us to schedule that.

What We Ask You To Do

At all times face masks are required when in the building unless otherwise directed. Face shields are not enough at this time to sufficiently protect against the virus so if you do use a face shield, we do ask that a mask be worn as well. We acknowledge that certain medical conditions may complicate this request so if you have such a condition and have been instructed by a medical professional to refrain from wearing am ask, please let us know in advance of your arrival.

We ask that guests of our patients remain in their vehicles unless they are required to assist our patients into and around our facility. We are required to enforce a limit of people allowed within the building at any given time and this helps us adhere to the state’s requirement.

Patients are required to call in rather than walk-in for any requests regarding medical records, scheduling, or questions regarding billing. If it becomes necessary we will ask that you come in to continue the conversation, but 99% of all requests and questions can be handled effectively over the phone by our wonderful staff.

We truly appreciate you and your loved ones helping us keep the spread of the disease in check. It helps keeps, you, and us, safe, during these unusual times.

Thank you!
