Which cataract lens or surgery is best?
This is very patient dependent. With a complete evaluation (usually taking a couple of hours), your doctor will examine your eyes, do multiple eye measurements, discuss your eye health and lifestyle, and make a recommendation as to what lens option is best for you.
Which cataract lens is best for astigmatism?
Astigmatism can be corrected by laser incisions and/or toric intraocular lens implants at the time of surgery
Which cataract lens is best for night driving?
This is very patient dependent. With a complete evaluation (usually taking a couple of hours), your doctor will examine your eyes, do multiple eye measurements, discuss your eye health and lifestyle, and make a recommendation as to what lens option is best for you.
If night driving is very important to you, let your doctor know as that will help guide lens selection.
Will cataract surgery get rid of floaters?
No. Floaters are in the back of the eye. They are little bits of vitreous gel floating around in vitreous fluid, and will still be there after cataract surgery. Floaters can be treated by vitreous specialist using laser or removal.
Will cataract surgery improve night vision?
Yes cataract removal should let more light into the eye which should help night vision and reduce glare
