What drew you to your specialty?
What started as a part time position during college expanded to a full-time career path as my interest and experience in the field grew.
What about eye care is it that intrigues you?
Vision is one of our most important senses and being a part of improving that aspect of life has always been rewarding.
What are some things you are most proud of in your profession?
Having published several educational courses for other optical professionals.
What are some of your greatest achievements, both professionally and personally?
Some of my biggest professional accomplishments include achieving the Master Optician designation and well as recently completing a Master of Business Administration degree. I’ve always been passionate about travel and have been lucky enough to travel to 70 countries in my lifetime.
How have you (and do you continue to) adapt to the ever-changing world of eye care?
Always keeping an eye out for the latest lens technologies and staying on top of recent eyeglass tends and always trying to learn new skills.
