Dr. Renee McCoy
Renee Cane McCoy, M.D. is a graduate of Howard University College of Medicine. She completed her residency in ophthalmology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio in 1997. Dr. McCoy has lived in the Verde Valley of Arizona since 1998 where she has been providing comprehensive eye care as well as specialized glaucoma care since that time.
Dr. McCoy and her husband have three children that were born and raised in the Verde Valley. In her spare time she enjoys traveling with her family. They also hike in the beautiful mountains of Sedona, Arizona.
In the past, Dr. McCoy has given talks in the community on Macular Degeneration, Glaucoma and Diabetic Eye disease. She has given a presentation at a national conference on a particular type of cataract in patients with Cytomegalovirus Retinopathy.
Dr. McCoy joined the ClearVision team in 2006.
She is an accomplished no-stitch cataract surgeon and specialist in the medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma as well as being skilled in a wide variety of other medical and surgical eye care procedures. Dr. McCoy is also available for routine eye examinations and contact lens examinations.
She is our lead surgeon in the Cottonwood, Arizona office, which has been open since the beginning of 2006.
