Dr. Scott Cherne
Scott A. Cherne, MD, a graduate of the Loma Linda School of Medicine, has practiced ophthalmology in Eugene, Oregon since 1986. He pioneered the LASIK procedure in Oregon, being the first to perform the procedure in central and southern Oregon. He has performed thousands of LASIK surgeries and currently uses the VISX Star S4 smooth scan laser along with the third generation Moria microkeratome.
The combination of these precise tools and the skill Dr. Cherne possesses allow his patients to enjoy clear vision just hours after surgery. In addition to LASIK, Dr. Cherne offers a wide variety of surgical services ranging from cornea transplant, 10-minute no-stitch cataract surgery and advanced glaucoma surgery. He also maintains an extensive lecture schedule. Dr. Cherne and the staff at Pacific ClearVision Institute are dedicate to providing excellence in eye care.
